NORDUnet, a transnational collaboration
between Scandinavia's public computer networks for research and education, will
expand its network to provide flexible, high-capacity network connections to
the Nordics National Research and Education Networks (NREN) community.
NORDUnet uses products from Ciena, the
network specialist, for this. This allows NORDUnet to support demanding
operations as well as bandwidth-intensive systems such as big data exploration,
analytics, and HD educational content. NORDUnet operates optical networks in a
number of European countries, including the Netherlands.
Cisco
unveils technical and assiduity
Cisco NCS opposed Cisco LIVE 2023 at Mandalay
Bay in Las Vegas, a networking and security event that will bring together the
global Cisco community to showcase the latest inventions and inspire attendees
to strive for a further inclusive future for all. This time's event will host
nearly 20,000 attendees in person, with nearly a million more tuning in from
around the world through a live-streamed digital event (sign up for virtual
